Craig Malcolm struck a brace as Stranraer came from behind to shock Brechin City.
Stranraer were awarded a penalty on the half-hour when Gerard McLauchlan fouled Robert Love, Malcolm stepping up and emphatically powering the ball into the top corner from 12 yards.
Brechin fought back in style, though. First, Derek Carcary's bullet header from Alan Trouten's cross levelled the scores and Paul McLean rifled in from 18 yards before the break.
But Malcolm hit his second on 70 minutes when he got on the end of a Ryan Borris pass to hammer home from the edge of the area.
And the game swung decisively in Stranraer's favour five minutes later thanks to Chris Aitken's 30-yard wonder strike.
