Arbroath 2-1 Albion Rovers

Arbroath remain in the Second Division promotion play-off places after securing victory against Albion Rovers.

Only Scott Morrison's reflex save prevented Christopher Dallas from giving Todd Lumsden's men the lead with a firm right-footed strike after 32 minutes.

The visitors eventually broke the deadlock when Patrick Walker got the final touch on a Gary Phillips corner on 55 minutes.

Michael Travis almost got the hosts back on level terms five minutes later but his goalbound effort was brilliantly tipped round the post by Wee Rovers goalkeeper Matthew McGinley.

The game began to turn in the Red Lichties' favour when Barry Russell was shown a straight red card for violent conduct and then Scott Robertson was upended by Ciaran Donnell inside the area moments later.

Steven Doris stepped up to tuck away the penalty, his 15th goal of the season, before Alexander Keddie headed home Ross Chisholm's 89th-minute cross to complete the turnaround.
