How do you work out that city spent £52 million during last summer ?The signings were Jack Rodwell £12 million Garcia £16m Matija Nastasi £10m Sinclair £6.2m Macon and wright free. Which is £44.2 where did £52m come from ?Compared with kagawa £16m Powell £6m and RVP £24m which is £46Do you use the same source as the person who questioned why Mancini spent £30m on Lescot ?
Stoke are pretty awful at the moment granted, but West Ham never going to be the easiest game, and Spurs are running into something resembling good form.I think Utd will have to work very hard not to drop points in those fixtures, whereas City will now have the boost you get from shoving a loss down your rivals throats. Good luck to em too!**Trophy rubbing :) LOL surely they wouldn't
963- andrew9090 - "Well done, you won your cup final!" - no that's after we skip past Chelsea at the weekend
I'd have 2 disagree *a little with Ferguson there - you see, he'd have a far stronger point about his team playing well if ManU actually had scored at least 1 of the 3 goals!@975They're waiting for their own blog I presume to begin some tumultuous trophy rubbing. And some extras maybe, who knows, it's been 52 long weeks after that Sunny day in Sunderland after all ,]
Utd have Stoke and West Ham City have Wigan and Spurs Away. Would rather have uniteds next 2 fixtures especially when Chelski put u down on Sunday !! Think it will be wrapped by the end of the month and at the very latest when Chelski come to town in the 1st week of May. man city lost it when they let de jong one citys best players last season. Will say tho Rooney was awful yet again. disappointed
977 They were in trouble the day they let Ronaldo go to Real and replaced him the next season with Nani and Valencia!City deserved a third goal there I thought, the cheating that was going on in that last 10 mins was apalling. Good win for City though that should give them a boost coming into next season, and Utd still have some tough games coming up I am hoping to see some more of the same :)
Well, when an actual *good ManU player like *Hargreaves predicts his former Club 2 lose, you know that they're in a little trouble@975Nah, they'll be here with that fat trophy, but hopefully they'll have shined it well 1st because there's still a lot of prints and a little booze left over from last May to clean!Better get to it fast Trafforders, 56weeks isnt too far u know the way time flies!
Three goals, one offside 2 own goals considering they both were deflected IWould rather be watching WWE and WrestleMania better than these 2 Overrated teams FACT!
Very quiet on here now :) Just the noisy neighbours as far as I can see! Lol that's pretty comical considering how noisy the other lot where earlier today, in particular a certain self-styled expert...
In a mark of utter gracious respect, I'll hold back for the Ferguson mockery. So long as he gives a interview, after all, hes a title winner!Good side, team-ethic, great pedigree, some gud playerz- an Olymipiakos. But teams that can see past the fear-shutters, they become what they are - an Olympiakos.mm, wonder what the 1st ManU fan backlash will be? Oh well, they have the EPL =)@972Yep ,]
actually it wasn't missed signings that cost the title....it was missed signing singular - RVP
@ 963No we'll be in the cup final as well in 4 weeks!!
@961 and City were beaten by United at home, don't really understand your point there. Chelsea, great team, but lack consistency so will always have a funny season in the league, then again their team is suited to cup games to rise to the occasion. Lost the battle, but ultimately the war should be won. Very open ended game; City did edge it though. On to the next game.
