Wrexham manager Andy Morrell has conceded their Blue Square Bet Premier title hopes are over and is targeting promotion to the Football League via the play-offs.

on Saturday and on Tuesday, 9 April, Morrell's side host Cambridge at the Racecourse.

Wrexham are 10 points adrift of second-placed Mansfield.

"Automatic's [promotion] gone and we're just looking to try and get in the play-offs now," said Morrell.

"But you don't want to just sneak in the play-offs either.

"You want to be going in there with a bit of momentum.

"So we'll regroup Monday and try and pick a team that's going to try and beat Cambridge.

"We have to win some games. We might have to rotate [selection] a little bit more, but we're going to have to go for it and try and win some games."

Injuries to midfielder Dean Keates (foot), and defenders Chris Westwood and Martin Riley (knee) could hamper Wrexham's plans as they face a fourth game in eight days.

The run began with a 0-0 draw with Macclesfield, followed by a 2-1 win over Mansfield and the setback at Woking.
