Swindon 4-1 Crewe

Swindon boosted their League One play-off hopes by thrashing Crewe.

Adam Rooney turned in Aden Flint's header to put the Robins ahead, before on-loan Massimo Luongo doubled the lead by converting Gary Roberts' cross.

Rooney then grabbed his ninth of the season from Luongo's corner on 25 minutes to effectively end the contest.

Harry Davis pulled one back from the spot after keeper Wes Foderingham fouled Max Clayton, but James Collins struck a fourth Robins goal soon after.

Swindon, who occupy the final play-off berth, are now four points ahead of nearest rivals MK Dons with just two games left in the season.

Pressure is still on - MacDonald

"The lads played very well indeed, although we did get a bit sloppy towards the end.

"It was a great response. Now, we have to keep our feet on the ground.

"The pressure is always on the team to perform. I want them to play like that and score more goals.

"I wasn't feeling the pressure, but I've been told one or two people don't like me - but half the time my own Mrs doesn't like me."
