OOh look at the way Wigan passed the ball. Caressed it and showed us all what a beautiful game it was. Guess what. Thats what West Ham used to do and we went down. I'm just glad we're more resiliant. It maybe ugly, but results matter and pretty football can take a back seat till we can afford 10 Aguero's!!
2002/03 Season WHU went down on 42pts.!!!
@100Callum McManaman got neither a red card nor a ban for that tackle.
What do West Ham fans feel about leaving the Boelyn Ground and going to the plastic Olympic Stadium? Wouldnt you surrely want to see you own home ground redeveloped instead?
@ 89maxmerit Shows how little you know.. PDC was NEVER going to manage West Ham! Gold is Jewish. Fascist plus Jewish owner was never gonna happen. Unlike Blackburn (see how well they're doing! lol) The two Davids' were never going to be stupid enough to get rid of Big Sam. Zola 35pts and Grant (nuff said) were rubbish at West Ham and deserved to be sacked!!
Wigan are a good advert for an 18 team PL and an 18 team C'ship-not good enough to make a step up beyond where they are now but far too good to be in a diluted 24 team C'ship - surely x2 18 team leagues and then x2 20 team leagues would be enough to keep the top 4 divisions packed with quality and then regional divisions below that to save on costs for smaller teams currently slogging about the UK
Come ON bbc why no open thread about suarez!!!!!? You allowed and condonedd a witch hunt against Callum McManaman for a bad (and dsereved red card / ban) but nothing against Brahms Stokers - vampire Man!! Shame on you for 1 rule for 1 & not the other!!!! Utter Farce
Re90Not sure where to start with that comment?! Who are "they"?, it was Ashley's decision to part company with Hughton and Ashley's alone. The fans have a huge amount of respect and admiration for Hughton, which is why I hope Norwich stay up.It's time Wigan went down!
@96, go and tell the Prime minister

Where's the comment thread on the Suarez bite - disgraceful BBC.
Who the hell left th edoor open?A Scouser seems to have snuck in with a irrelavant comment that no one on here cares about!!!
As the BBC has not allowed comments on a Liverpool thread I've entered my comments here.As a Liverpool fan I am disgusted in Suarez, the racial incident and now biting an fellow professional, Shanks and Paisley would not have given this disgrace the opportunity to besmirch the 'pools great name.
88.Brinsley Schwartz Wigan will stay up, just.Villa to go down.
If Wigan somehow wins the Cup, do they have a parade?
maxmerit - you "see" that, do you?? Or have you just made it up?
