Livingston 0-0 Hamilton Academical

Livingston moved up to third in Division One after they managed a goalless draw against Hamilton Academical despite playing more than an hour with 10 men.

It was in stark contrast to Saturday, when the Accies won 3-0 at the same venue.

Ross Docherty, who only entered the game as an 11th-minute substitute, was shown a straight red card in the 27th minute after a reckless lunge on Ziggy Gordon.

It left Richie Burke's side on the defensive for the rest of the game, against a team who had comfortably beaten them at the weekend.

The visitors almost took advantage of their numerical superiority immediately as Gary Fisher forced a good save out of Darren Jamieson and, from the resulting corner, Darian Mackinnon headed against the crossbar.

Steven May, who scored a hat-trick on Saturday, fired wide from a well-worked set-piece in the second period.

However, the Accies could not find the winner and their four-match winning run came to an end.
