Trinity secure Jersey Championship title with St Clement win

Trinity have secured the Jersey Championship title after beating second-placed St Clement 4-0.

The win was Trinity's 15th out of 15 games this season and gives them an unassailable 15-point lead at the top of Jersey's second tier.

Ex-island striker Dave Le Roux scored twice while Peter Grierson and Daryl Wilson got the other goals for Trinity.

The club have bounced back to the Premiership at the first time of asking after one season in the second tier.
