Jim Paterson: Bristol Rovers defender earns new deal
Defender Jim Paterson has signed a new one-year deal with Bristol Rovers.
The 33-year-old, who has made 46 appearances for the club, triggered a clause in his contract to earn him another season at the Memorial Stadium.
The Scotsman started his career at Dundee United before spells with Motherwell, Aberdeen, Plymouth and Shamrock Rovers.
Paterson joined the Pirates in January 2012, and secured himself an extended contract last summer.
Chairman Nick Higgs said: "I would like to thank Jim for his efforts since he joined us, and I hope that we can now go on to have a successful season with Jim as part of our squad."
