Stirling Albion 1-1 Elgin City

Elgin City's hopes of securing a Scottish Third Division play-off place all but ended after with a draw against Stirling Albion.

The visitors started brightly and were in front on 12 minutes when Craig Gunn poked in from close range.

But Stephen Day's strike levelled the match after the break.

Gunn fired narrowly wide after Mark Ferry headed against the Elgin crossbar but there was to be no winner, leaving Elgin three points off the play-off zone with one match left.

And even if City draw level on points with Berwick Rangers, the latter have a better goal difference.
