Rainey earns Crues win over Blues
- From the section Football
David Rainey signed off his Crusaders career by hitting the winner as the Premiership runners-up accounted for last year's champions Linfield.
Rainey and William Murphy were both making their final appearances for their respective clubs.
Michael Carvill put the Blues ahead on 13 and the Linfield striker hit the woodwork on two further occasions in the first half as the Blues dominated.
But Gary McCutcheon levelled on the stroke of half-time before Rainey's free-kick winner on 50 minutes.
