Premier league and Serie A levels are similar at the moment, both are behind La Liga and the Bundesliga. Situations are alike as well with one team dominant and a lot of ageing sides.
#62Pfff, *Juve play, well, like Italians like 2 play! No, not 1-0. Neo-style, slick, fluid link-up, purposeful atking waves and boatloads of Class in build-upsJuve and the Milan Duo could stuff any EPL team into next week if they rly wanted, period.I tried warning the brash Celtic supporters that they'd better pause their 'banter' in light of a stuffing and got a -12. Rest is historieee =]
#66Well, expect nothing less than a small European Club that's going to get it big time this October ,]To your 'value' comment - Fully agree. I dont follow SerieA but what you mentioned does sound staggering. To think we have to put up with watching Pub players like Post2006Rooney, PubParker and DrinkCleverly here! Each costing £10mn+, sheesh!Juve* looked Vgood in ~CL~ too, wish them well
Pogba is an outstanding player. The lack of chances he was given at Man Utd just seems bizarre to me. Because of that nobody expected that much from him, and perhaps even thought he'd be loaned out. He'd walk into the Man Utd team right now.Pogba, Pirlo, Marchisio and Vidal only cost 10m euros between them. Outstanding value for money.@62, Reinstated? I wish!
@62 How were they reinstated? They spent a season in Serie B and won it. It's called promotion, not reinstatement! ESG Cleverly better than Pogba? Yet again, your complete lack of knowledge or ability to see anything through your Man U - tinted glasses embarrass you. Please give up, you are the biggest fool on here by a million miles!!
pogba is class i would have loved to have him at arsenal hes much better than carrick and cleverly and is only 20 he will be one of the best midfielders in the world in years to come and united and sir alex made a mistake in letting him go and alex dont make many mistakes! on another note juve are becomming giants agin up the juve always liked them
@61 Pogba was rash & impatient, talent or not he was a mercenary & I'm glad a player like that is not @Utd. There are plenty more talented players there. Cleverley is far superior. @47 "People also forget their fans started the violence at Heysel" - & fans of another team finished it. Credit 2 Conte, has done well, now needs 2 build like Bayern 4 a Euro assault.
Juve relegated, reinstated, Betting trouble and corruption wherever you turn. Can Italian Football be taken seriously?
Fergie cocked up big with the way he treated Pogba! He has come out saying he regrets it. Good! Pogba was miles ahead of Cleverly, but Clev got promoted cos hes British thats all. I hope hes learnt to pick players on merit from now on! Now Pogba is starring at Juve alongside Pirlo and Vidal whilst Fergie has finally realised Clev is wack and that we need proper midfielders. De rossi please!!!
Real Madrid or Arsenal.

As Juve are my Italian team I was devastated by the Calciolpol scandal that emerged in the mid 2000's, but Juve are back in the big time, much faster than I expected and I even had them down as favorites to win the Champions League at one point... perhaps prematurely but I still see them on an upward trajectory provided they are willing to invest in the Summer.Forza Juve!
Conte needs more hair implants!! lol
#52, quite the opposite. Juventus are actually more popular outside of Turin. At one point, for that very reason, they were deemed the Harlem Globetrotters of football.
52 I live in Sardinia and there were cars a-beeping and fans a-singing well into the night. As a friend of mine recently noted, Man Utd are accused of having fair-weather fans all over the south, but none of them would have the nerve to organize street parties after a title win.
Jventus (not Bayern) have a real football class. They touch and pass the ball with elegant flair. I hope this type of play to deliver CL success.
@47 - History makes this current batch of players a bad side? Do i detect a hint of jealousy or prejudiced feelings towards them?Juve won the title with style this year and will only get stronger. The current approach by Juve to how they build and promote a team will hopefully continue and we can get back to winning in Europe even though we got further than any English club this year!
Juve are the "marmite" team of italy, either loved or loathed. The vast majority of italian fans outsde Turin will be unhappy at them winning the title.
#46Lol, memory banks sir, you need a statement update(!)
