Every club needs to be filled, surrounded with people having their hearts beating for club colors. Unfortunately JM and many others at REAL do not have that love, that capacity. When we return to gentlemans like RAUL, DEL BOSQUE, REDONDO, MIJATOVIC, SUKER, R.CARLOS, MAKALELE.... WE WILL BE WINNING TITLES AS IN LATE 90-ties.JM- bad manager, Ad person. Good luck Chelsea- hope u know what you wish 4
334 That pre-supposes that people are more interested in their futures rather than football. Even in more educated circles I've found little evidence for it.Politicians are not stupid, all they wanted was an ill edcuated and apathetic populace..and they have it in spades.Re: Mourinho, its possible if he comes he will land the title in the first year, but the old problems will re-surface.
Lol. The guy has come off a charity shield win, a CL semi, an unfortunate/unlucky FA cup loss and two seasons in La Liga, once coming second, and prior to that what is considered a magnificent title win beating a side most described as the "best club side EVER".And that is a failure?Words can't describe the stupidity involved in calling that failure.
abject failure, leaving a devastated club behind as usual, with the dressing room split into factions, some of their top players ostracised (pepe, ramos and casillas) and the squad on its knees physically, having achieved little whilst being terrible to watch, and dragging the great name of real madrid through the mud. horrific manager, and to think some thought man utd were interested in him.
#335Use twitter! With a disclaimer of course. You know,
It is clear what the BBC think of their readership. HYS exists for fifteen out of sixteen stories concerning football, and meanwhile stories goading the UK into war abroad, and even stories concerning european politics, have no HYS.
#332I see. And I thought AstonVilla were a happy camp along with Norwich.Actually, they should b happy - with no1 from the wider World really able 2 see/or wanting 2 see the hoofing repetitive dross they pump out each week (save the odd good player aside) - playing to just remain in the Pound$League.
Mourinho is a disgrace. His 3 years at Madrid have been a failure. He has offended almost everybody and turned the players and most of the fans against him. Chelsea need their collective head examined if they take him back. Abramovich won´t be as indulgent as Perez has been and they have already parted acrimoniously. Sparks will fly at the Bridge.
#326Sigh. Would 5 Cups do for you on a budget of £10million for MagicMourihno? Of course, your opinion is greatly valued amongst the Spanish footballing public and Execs alike, and could even have an affect on the next *Real Presidency! We're all listening intently(!)

328 - I don't' dispute the technical ability of the players, my disgust was with the cheating and play acting, you refer to blood and thunder - there wasn't any, just pretending to be hurt and conning the ref is all I saw
@ SPL You obviously do not watch a lot of Spanish footy. As an avid fan (Real Mallorca unfortunately) I know that the teams, even at the bottom, are technically far superior to there English counterparts. It should be remembered that this game was a local derby. Like the Old Firm, Boca-River, etc, technical superiority usually gives way to blood and thunder and who wants it most.
Karrma, it is a wonderful thing. The irony of a Mourhino team being undone by constant cheating and diving is wonderful. The best example of diving and feigning injury was by his Porto team when they played Celtic in the Europa final in 2002 (not too sure about the year). Mourhino has always thrived on controversy, but usually with the team behind him, this time it was him against his own team, tragic
I've always liked Jose and think his record is very good, but I guess on reflection his time in Spain has to be seen as a bit of a failure. Fair enough he has been up against arguably the best club side ever in Barca but when you manage Real with 100s of millions to spend the minimum is the CL and title, he has 1 cup and 1 league title in 3 years - is that the same as Mancini?
Much as I dislike Mourinho, technically Madrid DID win a trophy - the Spanish version of the Charity Shield at the start of the season. As for the fans "loving" Mou, well, the love appears to have gone. His treatment of Casillas has put the tin lid on a poor season and the fan polls want him to go.
And people say La Liga is the best in the world - the extra time was a pitiful show of cheating, feigning injury, imaginary card waving, chasing the referee, fighting between the benches, play acting, trying to get (and succeeding) players sent off - just awful, I switched off. Watching that each week is like WWF in the US
@260 agreed comparison with clough was short-sighted but the only comparisons I can draw with Casillas are Gerrard, Giggs and De Rossi. He is revered by his club and their supporters. As big as a figure JM is, once he publicly went against someone of that stature in a football club hed already lost. Also hes not just RMs hero, hes the captain of their W.C & Euro winning national side!!
What a tedious little man JM is. Please please please don't come back to England.
#315Er, yes he may be a failure 4ev4r from this point, but Ive seen opinions from *Real fans(they pay the 100Euro tickets)They unanimously exclaimed their love for his tenure ' wrestling the the LaLiga Crown from rotten *Barca (lol!) is everything to us ' they say.For me, doesn't matter if he won diddly - I rate *AVB as not much less because in they end they deliver premium exciting football.
