Craig Lindfield: Chester FC to sign Accrington Stanley winger
Conference Premier newcomers Chester FC will sign winger Craig Lindfield when his contract at Accrington Stanley expires later this summer.
Lindfield made 92 appearances in three years with Accrington, scoring eight goals for the League Two club.
The 24-year-old formerly played seven games on loan at Chester in 2008.
Meanwhile, Captain George Horan and goalkeeper John Danby have both signed new contracts after helping Chester to the Conference North title.
On the signing of Lindfield, who can also play at full-back or as a striker, manager Neil Young told the club website: "Craig is a player who has played all his career in the Football League and could have stayed in the league.
"He really likes the challenge of what we are trying to do here and, with his ability to play anywhere across the front three or even anywhere on the right-hand side, he gives us many options."
Experienced midfielders Danny Harrison, Jason Jarrett and Kevin McIntyre have also agreed moves to Chester this summer.
