Miskimmin linked with Glentoran after Donegal Celtic exit

Mark Miskimmin celebrates scoring for Donegal Celtic

Mark Miskimmin has been linked with a move to Glentoran after leaving relegated Donegal Celtic.

Donegal Celtic said the former Linfield and Glenavon striker had agreed a move to the Irish Cup winners.

Glens boss Eddie Patterson admitted the club has an interest in Miskimmin but that the player has not yet signed.

Miskimmin would be a direct replacement for Andy Waterworth, who left the east Belfast side to join Big Two rivals Linfield last month.

Waterworth scored two goals in Glentoran's Irish Cup final success over Cliftonville.

Miskimmin impressed for Donegal Celtic last season despite the club's relegation from the Irish Premiership.
