Barrow have signed defender Robbie Williams on a one-year deal.
The 26-year-old, who played 10 games for Hyde this term before moving to Colwyn Bay, joins the Bluebirds after their relegation to Conference North.
He began his career at Altrincham, making 87 appearances and scoring four goals, before a stint with Telford.
"Rob is a good strong defender who heads the ball well and that's just what we need," Barrow boss Dave Bayliss told the club website.
Bayliss has already added striker Gareth Arnison from Workington Reds, winger Shelton Payne, ex-Southport goalkeeper Tony McMillan and player-coach Alex Meechan to the squad.
