New Everton manager Roberto Martinez has brought in four members of his Wigan Athletic backroom staff, including assistant boss Graeme Jones.

Chief scout Kevin Reeves, goalkeeping coach Inaki Bergara and head of performance Richard Evans have also moved from the DW Stadium.

Martinez told the Everton website: "We have brought in people with real experience in the Premier League."

Three of Everton's staff had left to join David Moyes at Manchester United.

Assistant manager Steve Round, goalkeeping coach Chris Woods and coach Jimmy Lumsden all followed the former Toffees boss to Old Trafford.

Martinez said of his appointments: "They bring a real understanding of what we need to reach with the players."
