Chesterfield bring in former Hull City winger Jamie Devitt

Chesterfield have signed former Hull City winger Jamie Devitt on a six-month deal after a successful trial spell.

The 23-year-old spent time on loan at Rotherham and Grimsby last season.

Devitt made 13 league appearances to help the Mariners to the Blue Square Bet Premier play-offs before being released by the Tigers in June.

He is the third player to commit to Paul Cook's side this week after full-back Ritchie Humphreys and centre-back Matty Brown.
