Champions League boost for women's game

Irish FA women's domestic football manager Sara Booth says Seaview's hosting of a Champions League qualifying group will boost the women's game in Northern Ireland.

Local contenders Crusaders Strikers found the going tough in their opening game on Thursday as they were beaten 5-0 by Ukrainian professional outfit WFC Kharkiv.

In Thursday's other game, Hungarian champions MTK Hungaria defeated Dubliners Raheny United 3-2.

Crusaders will be back in action against MTK Hungaria on Saturday.
