Woking 2-4 Welling

Three goals in the opening half hour helped Welling to a 4-2 win at Woking.

Home keeper Aaron Howe punched a Harry Beautyman corner into his own net before Doug Bergqvist headed a second and Beautyman fired in a third.

Brett Johnson poked in just before the break to give Woking hope, but they had Jack Parkinson sent off for a second bookable offence after the restart.

Loick Pires headed in to re-establish Welling's three-goal advantage before Joe McNerny netted for the hosts.

Garry Hill: Woking manager on Welling defeat

Woking manager Garry Hill told BBC Surrey:

"We certainly don't help ourselves at the moment with any of our form and I am very disappointed. It's the case that a lot of damage at the moment is self-inflicted and whatever way we look at it we started sloppy in the first half.

"The first 30 minutes was probably the worst defensively that I've seen us since I've been here in two-and-a-half years. We gave ourselves a mountain to climb.

"We gave three gifts away and you had to see them to believe them. I think people are absolutely shell-shocked in every way at the moment."
