Prestatyn Town 4-1 Bala: Two goals from Andy Parkinson plus further scores by Michael Parker and Lee Hunt saw Prestatyn romp to an opening win at home to Bala, who scored a consolation goal from Ian Sheridan.

Rhyl 0-3 Aberystwyth: Goals from Aberystwyth's Stuart Jones, Mark Jones and Chris Venables made for a miserable return to the Welsh Premier for Rhyl.

The New Saints 6-0 Port Talbot: Greg Draper was celebrating a hat-trick following this hammering of Port Talbot Town. Ryan Fraughan, Mike Wilde and Alex Darlington, from the penalty spot, scored before Draper's 14-minute burst.


Aberystwyth 3-0 Afan Lido: Peter Hoy, Chris Venables and Krzystzof Nalborski were all on target as Aberystwyth saw off Afan Lido.

Bala Town 1-2 Airbus UK: Airbus came back to win through goals from Ian Kearney and Steve Jones. Mark Connolly had given Bala an early lead but the dismissal of Kenny Lunt on the half-hour mark for the home side turned the tide.

Bangor City 2-3 Rhyl: Paul McManus struck twice in the first eight minutes - including a penalty - as Rhyl held on to beat Bangor. Rob Jones had briefly levelled for Bangor in a breathless start, but David Forbes made it 3-1 midway through the second half before Sion Edwards pulled a late goal back for the home side to set up a nervy finish.

Newtown 0-4 Carmarthen: Liam Thomas set Carmarthen on their way to a comfortable win at Newtown with two first-half goals, while Kyle Bassett and Christian Doidge also claimed goals. The visitors had Cortez Belle sent off in the 74th minute for his second booking but Newtown could not take advantage.

Port Talbot 0-0 Gap Connah's Quay: Connah's Quay had Paul Mooney sent off as they ground out a goalless draw at Port Talbot.

Prestatyn Town 1-0 The New Saints: Lee Hunt's goal proved the difference for Prestatyn in a match that was delayed for 45 minutes due to serious neck injury sustained by The New Saints' Chris Marriott.
