The hosts went head when Elliott Frear collected Ricky Wellard's through-ball before firing in from 10 yards.
Halifax striker Kevin Holsgrove was sent off for violent conduct before fellow forward Josh Wilson saw red for an off-the-ball incident.

Salisbury City manager Mikey Harris told BBC Wiltshire:
"Delighted, that's seven points from nine in our last three games.
"The sending-offs change the game and make our life a bit easier but it doesn't mean you've got a right to win the game.
"Three excellent goals as well, and I'm over the moon with our form. We're moving in the right direction."
