No doubt there are a few trolls sobbing into their cornflakes this morning. And cheer up col, you sound like a right miserable c u next tuesday.
@132 skegzy Celtic may be financially sound, but apparently off the back of selling all their best players. No one can argue with Celtic's recent CL record, but I doubt they can sustain it with zero domestic competition to push quality. If Celtic fans are happy with a season that consists of about half a dozen meaningful games, good for them. I wouldn't be.
@129 Actually Col, Yes they can. Celtic are one of the most financially sound clubs in Europe. They do not spend more than what they earn, have one of the best youth/scouting systems in the UK and thanks to two years consecutive champions league qualification now have no debt and a war chest of funds for when big sally and the chuckle-vision finally return to the top division. Hail Hail!
Tee he he all those poor sevconians must feel like silly Billy's now.Thats another pile of cash bound for CP.Imagine u lot trying to have a laugh at CL club's expense hahaha. Your predictions are obviously rotten like the oldco and sevco. Cheers for the laugh guys and think of all those lovely Tuesdays and Wednesdays you can watch the mighty Celtic continue to be the shining light of Scotland :))
@92neil down and kiss the ground We are in the champions league group stage
@126 Azerty - I think you have spectacularly missed the point. When Celtic get knocked out of the CL, there is nothing to play for - the SPL is won before a ball is kicked. Over the next few years Celtic will gradually decline, a club cannot sustain itself on 4 or 5 meaningful games a season.
@120 TrueBlue72 "Listen pussycat smile a bit and GIRUY" :)
what a pity they won at least it gets them out of scotland for a while
#122Maybe what happened to Rangers could be considered as their own fault. They would have to blame themselves, imagine that !Pick yourself up and start living !
And Celtic have scored a third
@122 frowny " They voted Scottish football into oblivion." to be fair, it wasn't exactly centre-stage beforehand
Celtic 2 - 0 nowGood for them
No domestic competition means cheaper transfers, lower wages, less effort needed for success. The decline has begun.Without Rangers, Celtic are nothing. Voting Rangers out of the SPL was the single dumbest thing Celtic could have done. Celtic should have fought for Rangers but they were too stupid to see how it would effect them. They voted Scottish football into oblivion.
They got a goalthere is hope
