Veteran striker Dennis Wyness scored the only goal of the game as Elgin City grabbed their first win of the season by beating Clyde.
The home side looked more threatening early on, with Craig Gunn going close after three minutes.
Gunn was Elgin's biggest threat and the striker fired wide of the left-hand post after the break.
But City did take the lead just after the hour-mark, when Wyness struck home a low, right-foot shot.
Brian Cameron provided the pass for what proved to the the only goal.
Clyde came back into the match thereafter and Kieran McGachie came close to securing a point with only three minutes to go as the substitute's effort flashed wide.
