Cardiff sign Uruguayan defender Maximiliano Amondarain

Cardiff City have signed Uruguay Under-20 international Maximiliano Amondarain from CA Progreso, in Montevideo.
The 20-year-old central defender impressed during a trial period earlier in the summer.
A strong and talented ball-playing centre-half, Amondarain completed his medical in Cardiff on Friday prior to signing a four-year deal.
He was part of the Uruguay U20 squad that finished runners-up in July's 2013 Fifa U20 World Cup in Turkey.
