Goals in stoppage time from Magno Vieira and Anthony Barry helped Forest Green to a victory over Halifax.
Dan Gardner put Halifax ahead from the penalty spot following Eddie Oshodi's foul on Adam Smith.
Vieira then tapped in from close range in the first minute of added time.
The Shaymen were reduced to 10 men when Lois Maynard was sent off for a second booking, before Anthony Barry smashed home a late winner for Forest Green in the sixth minute of stoppage time.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Forest Green Rovers manager Dave Hockaday told BBC Radio Gloucestershire:
"I thought first half we were super, and then I think we've had another incredibly harsh penalty given against us and that made us wobble a little bit.
"In the second half it felt like they had about 15 men behind the ball and they made it very difficult for us. We went through plan B, C, D and E, but we kept on going.
"Teams are going to come here and give us respect, and we've earned that today and they've made us earn it.
"We've made a few shifts of system and shape and went a bit direct at the end which you have to do to ask questions. I think overall we thoroughly deserved to win and what a great way to win it."
