Peterhead came from behind to win and prolong Queen's Park's miserable start to the campaign.
The visitors went into the clash on the back of six straight defeats in all competitions but they hit the front in the 24th minute.
Anthony Quinn was on hand to volley into the bottom-left corner of the goal after good build-up play.
Queen's Park failed to take their lead into half-time, but David Cox swung in a free-kick two minutes before the break and Rory McAllister headed into the roof of the net.
The decisive moment of the match came five minutes into the second half when McAllister found strike partner Fraser McLaren, whose low shot beat Blair Lochhead and ultimately handed Peterhead a deserved victory.
