FC Halifax 2-1 Chester

FC Halifax defeated fellow promoted side Chester to maintain their unbeaten home record in the Conference Premier.

Lee Gregory headed the hosts in front inside four minutes, but Gareth Seddon then turned in Danny Higginbotham's flick to level against his old club.

Home keeper Matt Glennon had earlier made a fine save to deny Seddon before keeping out Craig Lindfield's effort.

But Marc Roberts won it for Halifax, nodding in Adam Smith's right-wing cross in the 64th minute.
