Shrewsbury Town 2-2 Carlisle United

Paul Parry rescued a point for Shrewsbury Town with a stoppage-time equaliser against Carlisle United.

The home side took the lead when Luke Summerfield's through ball picked out Tom Bradshaw and he rifled a first-time shot past keeper Mark Gillespie.

David Amoo lifted a close-range shot high into the net to level before Sean O'Hanlon was allowed a free header from a corner to put Carlisle in front.

But Parry kept his cool to fire past Gillespie to crown a dramatic finale.

Town top scorer Bradshaw's strike took his tally to five for the season, half of his team's 10-goal haul.

VIEW FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Shrewsbury manager Graham Turner told BBC Shropshire:

"I don't think it was a bad performance by any means but overall it's two points lost and certainly not one that deserved a defeat.

"We have a reputation of conceding late goals and we need to stop that. But, when you go 2-1 down, you have to think it's a point gained.

"The second goal for Carlisle, there is no doubt in my mind that there is a foul on Ryan Woods in the build-up to the corner.

"But Paul Parry has despatched the equaliser, under pressure, and has rescued a point for us."
