Accrington Stanley 1-2 Dagenham & Redbridge

Rhys Murphy

Zavon Hines and Rhys Murphy scored as Dagenham beat Accrington Stanley to move to the edge of the League Two play-off places.

Murphy broke free of the Accrington defence to set up Hines to put the visitors ahead in the second half.

A role reversal quickly followed as Hines broke clear and played in Murphy, who fired low past Marcus Bettinelli.

James Gray scored a late consolation after Will Hatfield's long-range effort was spilled by Chris Lewington.

Dagenham move up to eighth, level on points with seventh-placed AFC Wimbledon, while basement club Accrington are still searching for their first win of the season with 10 games gone.
