Halifax and Nuneaton both scored in added time as the visitors came from behind to grab a point.
Nuneaton went ahead when good approach play from Louis Moult set up Wesley York, before Dan Gardner levelled from close range.
Ryan Toulson thought he had won it for the hosts with a scrambled finish in the second minute of stoppage time.
But there was more drama to come as York rifled in his second on the night to move Nuneaton up to third.
Halifax are 12th and three points adrift of the play-off places.
