Truro City: Boss Steve Massey says results will improve

Truro City manager Steve Massey is confident his side's poor run of results will soon end.

The White Tigers have lost their last five games, and six of the last seven, to sit fourth from bottom of the Southern League Premier Division.

Their latest setback was Tuesday's 2-0 home defeat by Poole Town.

But Massey, whose side are at Banbury on Saturday, told BBC Radio Cornwall: "Results will come good for us because of the quality in the dressing room."

He added: "We have got one focus and that's making Truro City successful and I know the majority of people see that and believe that.

"No-one is working harder than the chairman, myself, my backroom team and the players.

"The results, not the performances, haven't been going our way but the team is evolving and on Tuesday we looked a decent side for large parts of the game."
