Gillingham return pleases Taylor
- From the section Football
Gillingham interim manager Peter Taylor tells BBC South East Today that he would have stayed longer at the club had an opportunity not arisen to manage in the Premier League.
Taylor led the Gills to promotion to the second tier in 1999-2000 but left at the end of the season to join Leicester City.
The 60-year-old is back in charge at Priestfield Stadium while chairman Paul Scally conducts the process of finding a new manager following the departure of Martin Allen.
