Brechin City 3-1 Arbroath

Brechin ended seven-game winless streak with a fine victory over local rivals Arbroath at Glebe Park.

After sustained pressure the Hedgemen went in front when David Banjo brought Andrew Ryan down in the box and Graham Hay scored from the penalty spot.

And Ryan made up for an earlier miss by slotting a Steven Robb cross home.

Alan Cook pulled one back for Arbroath with 11 minutes to go with a smart finish but Robert Barr smashed in a late third to ensure the win for City.
