Barrett backs Taylor for Gills job
- From the section Football
Gillingham captain Adam Barrett tells BBC Radio Kent that he and the rest of the squad hope interim manager Peter Taylor is given the job on a permanent basis.
The 60-year-old took charge last week after the sacking of Martin Allen.
Barrett says the players "would love to get the results that get him the job", but Taylor says chairman Paul Scally "could bring in a manager tomorrow".
