Lincoln City have signed Bury striker Marlon Jackson on a two-month loan.
The 22-year-old joined the Shakers in the summer but has struggled to break into the first team.
Imps manager Gary Simpson told BBC Lincolnshire: "He brings pace and experience. We want him to cause problems and get in positions to create and score a few goals.
"We've been lacking pace and size and an out-and-out striker because the players we have have been injured."
Bristol City youth-team product Jackson had several loan spells with Football League clubs while at Ashton Gate.
He joined Hereford in 2012, scoring seven goals in 25 appearances in one season in the Conference Premier last season.
Jackson has been granted permission to play in both the FA Cup and FA Trophy.
