Dundee United appeal against Nadir Ciftci dismissal

Dundee United have confirmed they will appeal against Nadir Ciftci's red card in Tuesday's Scottish League Cup defeat by Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
United were leading 1-0 when Ciftci was dismissed following a melee that involved several players.
Inverness came back to win after extra-time at the Caledonian Stadium.
United said on Twitter: "Manager confirms club will be appealing Nadir Ciftci's dismissal for violent conduct last night."
