Portsmouth have signed strikers Jake Jervis and Ryan Taylor following their releases by Turkish side Elazigspor and Bristol City respectively.
Jervis, 22, began his career at Birmingham and was briefly on loan at Pompey last season scoring once in three games.
He has joined Portsmouth on a deal until the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Taylor, 25 only played for City eight times this season and has signed an 18-month contract at Pompey.
"I'm very happy to be here and I just want to start playing some games now," Taylor told the club website.
"I've been sat on the bench at Bristol City and asked the manager if I could leave.
"He said 'yes' and when I heard that Pompey were interested it was an easy decision."
Portsmouth have also confirmed midfielder Shaun Cooper, 30, has left Fratton Park following the expiration of his short-term contract.
