Grant Gallagher struck late on as Stranraer finally ended Junior outfit Auchinleck Talbot's resistance and Scottish Cup run.
Jamie Longworth, who scored twice last weekend as 10-man Stranraer came from behind to earn a replay, grabbed two more within 30 minutes of the replay.
James Latta pulled one back after 59 minutes, but David Gormley levelled 13 minutes from time.
However, Gallacher stabbed home the winner three minutes from time.
Longworth settled the visitors' nerves inside five minutes when he found the bottom corner with a right-foot shot.
The striker doubled Stranraer's advantage just after the half-hour mark with a header beyond Andy Leishman.
Latta gave Auchinleck a lifeline when he headed in from six yards after good work by Gormley only for Gallagher to break Auchinleck hearts and set up a tie away to Clyde in the next round.
