Tranmere Rovers 1-1 Bristol City

Tranmere Rovers and Bristol City both extended their unbeaten runs to five games as the home side rescued a point thanks to Liam Ridehalgh's first goal for the club.

Sam Baldock latched on to a Bobby Reid pass before sliding the ball home to put the visitors ahead.

Ridehalgh struck from the edge of the box to level before the break.

A frantic finish saw visiting keeper Elliot Parish palm away a Jake Kirby cross from underneath the crossbar.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Bristol City head coach Sean O'Driscoll told BBC Radio Bristol:

"I thought we started very bright and it was a great finish from Sam when we were on top of the game.

"When they got a goal back they changed a little bit, they pushed Jason Koumas a little bit further forward which gave our four midfield players a bit of a problem.

"They had that extra man in there and we could quite get back to the full-back in time. You want those shots to go over the bar or to get blocked, but sometimes they go in and this one did.

"But I think we stuck to our guns, although we lost our way a little bit in the second half."
