Manager Derek McInnes wants Aberdeen to match Celtic resolve

Derek McInnes hopes his Aberdeen side can start to show the determination Celtic displayed when they with two late goals.

With the scoreline tied at 1-1 going into injury time, Derk Boerrigter and Kris Commons struck to give Neil Lennon's side all three points.

"They've got that determination not to accept anything other than winning," said McInnes.

"That's what we're looking to instil in our side and we're getting there."

Interview - Aberdeen boss Derek Adams

Niall McGinn drew Aberdeen level after Commons had put Celtic ahead.

And McGinn came close to putting the Dons ahead when his shot was touched on to the post by goalkeeper Fraser Forster.

"Fraser Forster's save on to the post is different class," added McInnes.

"Ultimately, we've taken a sore one at the death and it's hard to take. Obviously, I'm extremely disappointed.

"There was lots to be pleased about. Loads of effort, loads to be proud of."
