Queen's Park: Gardner Speirs leaves by mutual consent
Gardner Speirs has left his role as Queen's Park manager by mutual consent after almost six years in charge.
The Hampden side sit 13 points adrift at the foot of League Two.
A club statement said the decision was reached last week but Speirs had agreed to lead the team in Saturday's 4-0 defeat by Berwick Rangers.
"There's been no fall-out or anything like that but there was a feeling that things have run their course," Speirs told the club website.
"They are a fantastic club and I wish them well," he added.
"Now seems to be a good time for us to part in order that my replacement, should they wish, has an opportunity to take advantage of the up and coming transfer window."
