Former Bournemouth captain Carl Fletcher and ex-head of youth Joe Roach have returned to the club as part of Eddie Howe's new-look coaching team.
They have replaced Paul Groves and Shaun Brooks, who left earlier this month, in the club's youth department.
Fletcher, 33, was most recently playing at Barnet after a 16-month spell as manager of League Two Plymouth Argyle.
Roach was previously with Bournemouth for almost 10 years before leaving the club in 2011.
He has been appointed academy manager, with Fletcher named youth team boss, and Howe was delighted to welcome them back to Dean Court.
"We are delighted to bring them both back and I think it is a really positive appointment for the club's long-term future," manager Howe told the Cherries website.
"They know the club very well and I don't think we could have got two better guys.
"We are getting two Bournemouth people, who will work incredibly hard for the benefit of the players."
