Match ends, AFC Wimbledon 2, Exeter City 1.
Exeter's slide down the League Two table continued as Wimbledon came from behind to earn victory at Kingsmeadow.
Jimmy Keohane's header was deflected in for an own goal by Dons striker Jack Midson to give Exeter an early lead.
Luke Moore tapped in an equaliser for the home side after getting on the end of Charlie Wyke's low cross.
Exeter substitute John O'Flynn fired over when well placed and Midson atoned for his own goal by scoring the winner, sliding home from two yards out.
The defeat - Exeter's fifth in six matches - leaves the Grecians in 16th place in the table, six points clear of the relegation places.
VIEW FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
AFC Wimbledon manager Neal Ardley told BBC London 94.9:
"We wanted to come out and play with tempo at home. They did the same and won the battle in the first 25 minutes, but we had to ride our luck and as the half wore on we got better.
"There were some choice words at half-time, but they went out again with a game plan - to forget about the conditions and being a goal down - and it worked for us.
"Our home form has been sloppy of late and we were on the back foot, but the word to come out of today was 'character' as we didn't play well. A bit of magic and a good finish got us the three points."
