Dungannon new boy Gary Liggett scored twice as the Swifts came from behind to beat bottom club Ards in the Irish Premiership match at Clandeboye Park.
Craig McMillen gave Ards the lead in the 38th minute before home keeper Alan Blayney saved a Matt Hazley penalty
Mark Brolly equalised with a well-struck shot and Dungannon edged ahead with a tap-in by Liggett after Jamie Tomelty had crossed from the left.
Liggett, who signed from Ballymena, scored again five minutes from time.
Dungannon won the ball in midfield and, when striker Liggett was sent clear by Dermot McCaffrey, he slotted his shot past the advancing keeper Blayney.
Ards, last season's Championship One winners, look set for an immediate return to the second tier of the Irish League as they are nine points behind one-from-bottom Warrenpoint Town.
Just as they had done against Cliftonville on Tuesday night, Niall Currie's strugglers took the lead - only to end the evening with nothing to show.
Ross Arthurs did well to dispossess Dungannon's Cameron Grieve and he teed up McMillen whose shot into the corner gave Swifts keeper Gareth Buchanan little chance.
Dungannon got their penalty when David Gibson brought down Hazley who took the spot-kick himself only to see Blayney pull off the save.
However, the visitors did get level in the 51st minute, through Brolly's low finish past ex-Linfield keeper Blayney.
Liggett's double then gave a valuable victory to Dungannon who had lost their last three league matches.
