Coleraine's Bradley banned for replay against Cliftonville

Coleraine and Cliftonville prepare for cup clash

Coleraine striker Eoin Bradley is suspended for Tuesday night's Irish Cup fifth round replay with Cliftonville.

However, midfielder Stephen Lowry could return for the Showgrounds clash after knee surgery in November.

The Bannsiders are back on form, unbeaten in four games following a run of nine straight league defeats.

"They have definitely turned a corner and we'll have to be on our game to go through to the next round," said Reds captain George McMullan.

Cliftonville will be aiming to bounce from Saturday's 1-0 home defeat by Portadown and go into this weekend's League Cup final against Crusaders on a high.

"When you're hurting you want to put it right quickly and we'll just have to get our heads up for the Irish Cup," added McMullan.

"We played Coleraine at the start of the month and they were a shadow of themselves - confidence is a big thing and they were a far better team in the drawn cup game."

Coleraine boss Oran Kearney is delighted with his team's revival but he is wary of the threat posed by Reds strikers Joe Gormley and Liam Boyce.

"Cliftonville are a fantastic side and we know their front two are a big danger to any team in this league," said Kearney.

"It will take a monumental effort, like in the first cup tie, to give us any chance of winning.

"But the boys are upbeat, things are changing because of them and hopefully they can put in another big performance."

The reward for the winners is a sixth round encounter at home against Dungannon Swifts.

There are four other replays on Tuesday, including a 13:30 start for the PSNI's game with Lisburn Distillery, who will be without the banned Neil Alderdice.

Ballymena United trio Gavin Taggart, Johnny Taylor and Tony Kane are suspended for the Showgrounds clash against H&W Welders.

Intermediate League minnows Strabane Athletic have another chance of causing an upset when they take on Ballinamallard United at Ferney Park.

Armagh City host Ards with the winners going on to face holders Glentoran in the sixth round.
