Dagenham & Redbridge 1-1 Southend United

A second-half goal from Luke Norris earned mid-table Dagenham a draw with promotion-chasing Southend.

Kevan Hurst had put the Shrimpers, who are unbeaten in the league since 14 December, ahead with a miscued shot that deceived keeper Chris Lewington.

Lewington had earlier denied Hurst and Will Atkinson, while Rhys Murphy and Zavon Hines saw efforts kept out by Dan Bentley in the Southend goal.

But Dagenham took a deserved point when Norris converted Gavin Hoyte's cross.
