Wes Hoolahan keen to leave Norwich as transfer request denied
Wes Hoolahan still wants to leave Norwich City despite the club rejecting a transfer request.
The midfielder, 31, has not featured for the Canaries since 1 January and is a reported target for Aston Villa.
Hoolahan joined Norwich in 2008 and helped them to achieve promotion to the Premier League in 2011.
"I believe it is in the best interest of Norwich and myself that I am allowed to move on," he said in a statement released to Sky Sports News.
