Clarence Seedorf's AC Milan win again with late comeback at Cagliari
Two late goals in the space of three minutes gave new AC Milan boss Clarence Seedorf his second straight Serie A win since taking over at the San Siro.
Milan, who replaced Massimiliano Allegri with Seedorf after a terrible start to the season, trailed when Marco Sau slotted in against the run of play.
The visitors equalised through Mario Balotelli's bending 20-yard free-kick.
And substitute Giampaolo Pazzini helped Milan move up to ninth by swooping on Keisuke Honda's right-wing cross.
The comeback win against 14th-placed Cagliari demonstrated the new-found belief among Milan's players since Seedorf's return to the San Siro.
The 37-year-old Dutchman, who played for the Rossoneri from 2002 until 2012, had never coached a professional team before his appointment earlier this month.
But, despite a Coppa Italia defeat by Udinese in midweek, the four-time Champions League winner appears to have already instilled more resilience, with Milan also beating Verona thanks to a late Balotelli goal on Seedorf's managerial debut.
Elsewhere, neighbours Inter Milan were jeered off the San Siro pitch after being held to a 0-0 draw by rock-bottom Catania.
