Ghana to play Costa Rica and Honduras in the United States

Ghana will play Montenegro and Netherlands in friendlies

Ghana will play friendlies against Costa Rica and Honduras in the United States as World Cup warm-ups.

The matches will be part of the Black Stars final preparations as they set up camp in Los Angeles before leaving for the tournament in Brazil.

Ghana have chosen to spend a week in LA because of similarities in climate to their World Cup match venues.

Before that, Ghana will take on Montenegro in Podgorica on 5 March and Netherlands in Rotterdam on 1 June.

Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantekyie revealed the team will arrive in Rotterdam on 25 May and leave for Los Angeles on 2 June.

The Black Stars have been drawn in group World Cup Group G with three-time winners Germany, Portugal and USA.
